Make Believe Penitentiary is Filmm’s Single
Filmm offers very interesting music.
A brilliant and refined alternative rock. His compositional style for the arrangements made me think of the 80s. Perhaps for the sound of the keys.
The sound mixture is however modern, this artist has managed to find an original musical blend where all the ingredients are well thought out as in a Nouvelle cuisine recipe.
The vocal interpretation and timbre in some passages reminded me of the Pet Shop Boys. A magical and expressive voice that somehow is able to hypnotize the listener.
Filmm seems to have clear ideas on how to develop his musical project. His artistic vision is solid and his songs are mature.
An artist capable of composing quality music that I recommend everyone to go and listen to. I am curious to follow the developments of this musical project.

Make Believe Penitentiary is Filmm’s Single
Sleek and bleak, with infectious toplines, Filmm writes songs to despair to. Perfect for anyone living in an episode of Black Mirror who makes for a thoroughly miserable dinner party guest.
Make Believe Penitentiary is a driving dark pop track with catchy vocals, tank bass, big synths and hard hitting rock drums. Written from a place of acute anxiety, Make Believe Penitentiary is a song about feeling trapped inside your own head and yearning to be set free. Featuring Mat Hector on drums (Iggy Pop, Grace Jones, Razorlight) and Mark Neary on bass (Adele, Noel Gallagher, U2), Filmm combines musical influences ranging from Iggy Pop, to Nabes, to Halsey with a soundscape that could be straight out of DEVS, Yellowjackets or Severance.
