The music of this band immediately put me in a good mood. A compositional style that makes you think of summer and those beautiful days spent with your friends.
The spontaneity of this band is engaging and their songs make you want to dance.
It feels like these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve this chemistry between them.
The new single Margo and Cece is a simple song but it is by no means trivial. There are some beautiful bridges that break the rhythmic cadence and show how these guys work a lot also with sound dynamics.
A band that certainly needs to mature but that proves to have a beautiful artistic vision.
I recommend everyone to go and listen to The Non-Professional, you are going to love their music.

Margo and Cece is The Non-Professionals’ Single | Edgar Allan Poets
Created in Luke’s basement by Christian and Luke in 2017, The Non-Professionals are a Four Piece Alt/Pop/Rock/Whateverelse band. They write catchy ear worms with lyrics that take a lighthearted, honest, and decidedly suburban approach to life. Songs about relationships, the fun and dark sides of growing up, and the little things that get them by along the way, such as pet hamsters or their favorite bag of chips.
All backed by excellent band chemistry and musicianship. The Non-Professionals have 2 major releases so far, their debut EP, It’s a Drag (2018), and their first full length, Animal Songs (2020). With a lot more music in the works and some killer live shows backing them up. TNP knows both how to worm their way into your hearts, and keep them plenty warm after.
