The guitar riff that introduces the song captivated me. A vintage approach that immediately transported me to another era.
It is evident that these guys enjoy playing together. The musical alchemy that they have managed to create is enviable.
The singer’s voice is very interesting, in some moments it reminded me of Lou Reed and his Velvet Underground. His irreverent tone in typical English style gives the right intensity to the performance.
Mermaid is a song that transfers positive vibes. I also recommend watching the video which is truly visionary and fun.
The Transmissions have a complete artistic vision that demonstrates a solid artistic maturity… maybe they want to bring us a coded message that comes from the future.
A great find that I recommend to everyone.

A concept album about a man obsessed with leaving the world in hopes of being taken away by aliens, he sits in the woods and reflects on his lonely life, randomly switching between thoughts of loneliness and isolation to thoughts of extraterrestrials. This song is the first single and aims to be the sonic equivalent of a transcendental encounter with a spacecraft.
