Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Michael Sopolidis. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his music a lot.
I liked Michael Sopolidis’ compositional style a lot because in my opinion it is inspired by the rock of the 90s. In some moments his music reminded me of Incubus.
A direct, melodic, and sincere sound with dark shades that manage to bewitch the listener.
The production is very good and in particular the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element.
Surely we are faced with a great singer-songwriter with a lot of experience behind him. The chord progression is not obvious and banal and the maniacal attention to every detail makes this music refined.
Of the new single My Time Of Misery, I especially appreciated the chorus accompanied by that mysterious keys that creates a very special atmosphere.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
My Time Of Misery is Michael Sopolidis’ Single Out Now!
