Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Midnight Trust. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the uniqueness of their style.
The ethereal and dreamy sound of this band immediately struck me.
The compositional style reminded me of Grant Lee Buffalo obviously in a more modern way. Perhaps is the atmosphere and mood created by the Midnight Trust songs that made me think of the band led by Grant-Lee Phillips.
The music of these guys is truly amazing, very original, and different. It feels like the band spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sonic understanding.
The attention to every detail is obsessive and makes the proposed sound very refined.
I honestly believe that this band has a bright future ahead of them as they have managed to create a unique and instantly recognizable style that makes them stand out from the crowd.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Midnight Trust is an indie band based out of Nashville band, who you can trust even at 12a.m. They’re passionate about their craft and like to combine experimentalism with raw emotion. Consisting of Jef Bjarnson on vocals & bass, Ian McInroe on keys, Hunter Stevenson on guitar, & Skyler Rippe on drums, the quartets combined personalities lead to an unforgettable experience on and off of the stage.
