This band is really interesting.
This sound in some moments reminded me of bands from the 90s grunge scene. Sound Garden to be more precise.
Perhaps because of the singer’s vocal timbre which seems to be that of Chris Cornell. It is clear that we are dealing with musicians with developed musical tastes and excellent musical techniques.
The performance is in fact impeccable and the interpretation masterful.
You feel that Starscheme spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to create this intriguing musical blend. An alternative rock, intense and sincere.
All of Midwave‘s songs are solid and striking with melodic richness and intricate chord progressions.
I honestly haven’t found any flaws, this album is coherent and solid, an experience to be enjoyed from the first to the last second.
A beautiful discovery that I recommend to everyone.

A product of their environment, Starscheme has the signature Oklahoma sound which listeners are sure to recognize and enjoy from the first lick. This album was recorded in Bell Labs Studios during November 2021 with Trent Bell in Norman, Oklahoma. This album is currently on heavy rotation on The Spy FM and has been featured on Jay Ramone’s Local Talent Show on KATT.
