This musical project is absolutely brilliant.
Honestly, it’s hard to label it. Try to think of Primus meeting Naked City with Nirvana influences … an absolutely daring mix that still doesn’t convey what this music is.
The artistic vision of Bill Batty aka Slay Positive is instinctive. This artist has decided to follow only his passion without being guided by the rules of the music business.
Slay Positive was able to create his strange, paranoid and fascinating musical universe.
I am always admired when I discover such artists. I believe that these are the projects that give new life to the “always the same soup” world of music. These songs can inspire other artists to dare more.
I am convinced that uniqueness is always rewarded and that is why I believe that this irreverent project will be rewarded.

Slay Positive is led by bassist and vocalist Bill Batty. Live, he is backed by a group of life like androids, indistinguishable from real humans.
“I was playing this old Playstation 2 game called Manhunt 2. In the game you play as a patient who escapes from a mental asylum with his cellmate. Through the course of the game, it’s revealed (Spoilers) that the cellmate is actually a second personality, implanted into our hero’s brain by a secret government cabal; in order to create mind controlled assassins. I thought that was dope. When I came up with this bass tone (which I call “evil porno”) the crazy tone reminded me of the crazy game.”
