Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Mystic Waxx. I discovered this band/duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I instantly loved the magic of the singer’s voice.
What a beautiful discovery the Mystic Waxx. The voice immediately strikes you and transports you into another dimension.
The refined sounds do the rest, with the choice of ethnic, electronic instruments really interesting.
The musical vision of songs like “The Dreamer” reminded me a little bit of Wardruna even if in a sweeter way.
This music makes you travel and is ideal as a soundtrack for movies.
Their new single ‘Take Me Away’ has instead a more vintage twist that catapults you into the eighties.
The singer is so versatile that honestly, she can sing anything.
Her voice is a gift from heaven.
The songs are sought-after with harmonic tricks never trivial and a chord progression that keeps you glued from start to finish.
Band/Duo of absolute quality with a rosy future in front of them.

On 11th December 2020 Mystic Waxx returns with the 80s vibe, synth pop single “Take Me Away” The new single is deeply lyrical with a simple story twist about romance and inspiring adventures. This 80s inspired song mixes smoothly the Mystic Waxx’s signature dark beat with the melodic drive of a sentimental journey through time.
After the successful release of concept EP “Kayla” in June 2020, following radio edit re-release of “Gravitational Waves”, upcoming single “Take Me Away” will be the first full pop release for this Indie Duo, created as a peculiar escape from the current events around the World.
