E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – pMad

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to pMad. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere created by his music.

The sound proposed by this artist is really interesting. As soon as I started listening to his new single ‘Who I Am’ and I heard those Gregorian choirs in the background I was immediately fascinated.

This artist was able to mix very different styles of music and make them coexist in an enviable balance.

The result is ethereal and mysterious music that hides veins of nostalgia that are literally able to make you fly with your imagination.

While listening to this beautiful tune I saw myself driving a sports car through the streets of Dublin on a rainy day. One of these days when you want to forget everything and be alone with yourself.

The production is excellent and I recommend his music to everyone.

Who Am I is pMad’s Single Out Now!

Mysterious!

Paul Dillon is a solo artist named pMad. Releasing the music from his head out into the wilds of this world!! Starting out with writing and playing with The Suicidal Dufflecoats to The Return of the Suicidal Dufflecoats to The Greeting & now to pMad, Covid-19 strikes and Paul sets up ‘The Best of Irish Indie’ on Facebook which through the pandemic created many polls that enabled followers to vote for ‘The Best Irish Indie Album’, The Best Irish Indie Single’ and ‘The Best Irish Indie Debut Single’.

Now that vision of the music in his head is now moving to the outside.“If this was 1985 and Cathal Coughlan met Matt Johnson in London. And they decided they could make some music together. And they did and they made a record. If… if they did, it might just sound like the inspired new music from pMad.” – The Daily Earworm”stunning production and a fusion of punk, electro-pop and gothic rock with an underbelly of sombre metal and the result is something truly exciting, different and altogether new! “.
