9 o’clock Nasty are unstoppable and here we go with another Ep.
Many times in previous reviews I have joked and enjoyed finding funny and weird scenarios and adjectives to describe the music of this band.
This time I would like to be a little more serious because 9 o’clock Nasty continues to offer beautiful music and as they are very prolific and their songs are all of quality it seems right to honor their talent.
The first song of their new Ep Politic “King Thing” is fantastic, the melody of the voice while singing “It’s a King Thing” toward the end made me feel like a surfer who finds the right wave and lets himself be carried away by the flow … the vocal arrangements reminded me of Alice In Chains.
I also liked the other two songs, a band that has found its own musical path and that always manages to offer innovative and futuristic music.
These guys are nice and they joke a lot but their music is always brilliant and never banal. I like bands like 9 o’clock Nasty that don’t take themselves very seriously but then don’t miss a beat musically.
