Possibly Honest is Paytron Saint’s Single

The rough and raw sound of this band immediately won me over.

You feel that this music is real and tries to give true emotions to the listener.

While the musical part took me more toward Grunge, the melodic line reminded me, in some moments, of bands like Live.

It feels like these guys spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to reach this enviable musical chemistry. Paytron Saint worked hard to create their sound and their musical limbo.

A careful choice of ingredients is at the heart of their sound and they were able to conceive a unique sound recipe.

The result is the single Possibly Honest. A beautiful rock song, with no strings attached, a piece that pushes from beginning to end and that makes you believe in the future of music.

There are still bands that play real instruments and don’t do everything with computers and beats.

Go listen to them, this band has a great future ahead.

Formed in 2017, Paytron Saint are a four piece melodic indie grunge band from the hills of the Amber Valley in Derbyshire. They released their self-titled four track E.P. at the start 2018 and comparisons were made to bands such as Guided By Voices, Riding the Low and Alanis Morrissette. The following months were spent gigging in support of this release, including a headline slot at Belper Goes Green festival, and blog/podcast appearances. In June two more songs, Treeline and Very, were released to further praise.

2019 was spent gigging, further refining their sound. As we all know, covid hit at the start of 2020 and everything was shut down. Not a big fan of taking a break, Nick spent lockdown working on new material while Dean built a new Paytron Saint HQ in his back garden. As things started to ease through 2021 the band got back together and to test out the facilities at the new HQ, recorded 5 live tracks for the evening show on Radio Derby which got them featured as band of the week. After the success of this they got to work writing and recording the material Nick wrote while locked down. After much discussion, in early 2022 it was agreed that Joel would come out from behind the drum kit to play guitar, allowing him to better add harmonies to Nick’s vocals and make it easier for him to have creative musical input, Dan came in to take over drumming duties and the new four piece line up was formed.
