our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Red Mar. I discovered this great band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I instantly loved the originality of their songs.
This band is incredible, they have a completely different approach to music. A futuristic mix between past and future.
The voice reminded me of Jim Morrison. The songs have an innovative cadence with a rhythm that varies constantly without ever letting you take a breath.
When you listen to Red Mar’s music you feel like you’re on a rock wall without a rope and with few holds. You can fall at any moment and you are there in the NOW…that moment between your life and the fall.
Their sound and way of understanding music are really fascinating.
Finally something really different, absolutely recommended.
Rather than listening to a song, you feel like you are participating in a ritual. So abandon yourself without thinking, the Red Mar will guide you, with their music, into the abyss.

Born out of the experimental improvisations between Harry Fisher and Miles Lukoszevieze, Red Mar has since established a group of eclectic taste and influence, driven to produce cathartic pieces of music while eschewing simple categorization.
