E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Robert Kuhn

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Robert Kuhn. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his compositional style.

This eclectic artist offers us a very interesting sound.

His music takes inspiration from the past but at the same time manages to be modern with melodic intuitions and a chord progression that is never predictable and banal.

The production of this album is very good, a solid work! Honestly, I liked all the songs proposed, you can feel that we are dealing with a highly experienced singer-songwriter.

The thing that pleased me the most is that Robert Kuhn managed, in my opinion, to mix country with alternative rock in a very harmonious way.

This mix of ingredients makes this musical recipe unique and original. An artist to keep an eye on as he offers very good music.

Refined!

Multicultural poet and musician Robert Kuhn was born in Houston, Texas and moved back in 2010 after bouncing around the world for twelve years. Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, Australia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica and Nicaragua all played home for him as different doors, jobs, occupations and art forms opened and led him on from an Academic All-American Line Backer to a vagabond fisherman farmer writing the songs and words he has carried throughout the Americas. Broken hearts, broken backs, failed marriages, violence, riches, drugs, labor, poverty, music, poetry, dirt and salt; so it goes and continues.

Robert currently lives in Galveston, Houston and on the road where he is still sharing with the world the honest and independent folk, blues and world psyche-rock and roll Americana music that he writes and finds.
