our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Roger Ricks. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of his music.
I liked the sound proposed by this artist immediately from the first seconds.
A compositional method that takes inspiration from the great rock of the 70s, a sincere, free and direct music that awakens your more rock spirit.
Particular mention to the voice that has a high and solid timbre, slightly hoarse that emphasizes and adds pathos to the interpretation.
The chord progression is very interesting and the continuous twist and harmonic variations manage to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The production is very good and in particular the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element.
