The compositional style of this artist immediately hooked me.

I’ve always been fascinated by 90’s music and it’s evident that Downtown Patriots takes inspiration from that music to compose his songs.

A psychedelic, intense rock that doesn’t leave a moment to breathe.

Surely we are dealing with an artist with a developed artistic taste and above all with a great compositional experience.

Downtown Patriots knows music. The chord and dynamic progressions of Said and Done demonstrate compositional skills out of the ordinary, so his sound manages to stand out from the crowd.

An artist to follow carefully as he composes direct and sincere music of great quality.

When Danny Watts started Downtown Patriots, this multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer wanted a sound that captured his love of grunge but with a modern twist of energy.

One of the first records I ever bought was 1984 by @VanHalen, and always loved the synth sound in “Jump”, so I wanted to Introduce 80s style synths in to my new material, whilst retaining a grungey guitar sound, in a similar way to how @TheKillers manage to do. Adding those synths has lifted the energy of the latest music to something that I hadn’t considered previously.

I’m a rock man at heart heavily influenced by 90s grunge artists such as @PearlJam and @ChrisCornell but have a passion and love for all styles of music. I wanted the sound of Downtown Patriots to transcend across multiple genres to reach a wider range of music lovers.” says Watts
