our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Sam Lumar. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like his style.
As soon as I hit the play button I was immediately struck by how this artist managed to mix modern elements with armonic nuances of the past.
A compositional style that lives in a unique and original limbo, which in some passages recalls the rock of the 80s but at the same time brings with it innovative and futuristic arrangements and intuitions.
The melody of the new single Soda is very catchy and stays in your head for a long time after listening.
The production is very good and in particular the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
Sam Lumar is a talented artist who produces mysterious and intriguing music that I want to recommend to everyone.

Quote: “My connection to music began in the early days of my childhood in Spain, when my dad, a radio presenter, used to play his old vinyls to me. Over the years, while I was in secondary school, I started to hear melodies in my head whenever I had to study or work on my assignments. I soon realised that what I truly wanted was to dedicate my life to something more meaningful, where I could fight my fear of death by creating something that would live on forever. I then moved to Valencia to study music production, all the while playing guitar and writing songs.
