E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Sano Hill

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Sano Hill. I discovered this artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like the unique vibes of his music.

The mature and refined sound of this artist made me travel with my imagination.

The mysterious atmosphere of his new single The Climb made me think I was walking aimlessly through the streets of Dublin on a rainy night. One of those days when you just want to be with yourself.

Sano Hill’s vocal timbre is clear and nostalgic and his vocal interpretation is impeccable. You feel the passion that this artist puts into composing and performing his songs.

The production is very good and the musical arrangements are very well thought out.

An artist that I definitely recommend to everyone.

The Climb is Sano Hill’s Single Out Now!

Pure and Mature!

Sano Hill is a singer-songwriter based in Galway (Ireland) currently recording his debut album. His songs are inspired by life, love and loss and he has played to audiences in the US and Ireland with his work released already to critical acclaim on compilation albums, including ‘Origin: See the Light’, ‘New Horizons’, and ‘Inundations’ (which also featured music from leading international acts, including Josh Ritter, Ron Sexsmith, Lloyd Cole, Damien Rice, Mundy and The Frames).

“The Climb” – available to stream or download since Jan. 28 – is his first single release from his debut album, recorded in the legendary Windmill Lane Studios (Dublin) in collaboration with award-winning producer Larry Hogan. He “is blessed with a strong and distinctive voice” (Galway Advertiser) and his work has been described as defining “a timeless recipe for original guitar music: inventive, humanist lyrics sung from the gut, then embedded in rhythms to barrage or soothe the soul” (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel).
