A large stork-like bird, the Shoebill lives in large swamps in East Africa and can reach a height of over 1.5m (5ft) and can have a wingspan of up to 3m (10ft).

Recognizable by their enormous beak and terrifying gaze, these birds of prey, prey on fish, frogs, and reptiles such as small crocodiles, insects and even small mammals.
