The first thing that struck me about this artist is her voice.

A solid and at the same time delicate vocal timbre. Professional voice control and a really interesting interpretative ability.

Although Lyla DiPaul is young, she proves to have a developed artistic taste and a rare compositional talent.

The band that accompanies her is great. You can feel that these guys enjoy playing together and their chemistry is enviable.

The musical arrangements and the performance are flawless and allow Lyla DiPaul’s magical voice to stand out.

Sleepless Nights is a nice Ep that follows a coherent thread. The thing that struck me the most about these songs is the sincerity. These melodies go straight to the heart and warm your soul.

This artist with her band has a bright future ahead of her.

“My band and I have been together for the past 4 years. We all met while studying music at Loyola University New Orleans, and have been gigging around the city ever since. Last Fall, we had the incredible opportunity of recording our debut EP at Dockside Studio here in Louisiana. The entire record is self produced, and we are incredibly proud of how these songs were brought to life in the studio.”
