I already reviewed Son Of Abyss, a fantastic album by Abisso but they have filmed also a music video for the song that gives the title to the album and I want to share my thoughts about it.

This video reminded me of David Lynch. The visionary American director capable of bringing his oniric visions into films.
Son Of Abyss is a dark, intriguing video. The water looks like the barrier that divides us from another dimension. The hair, like blades, penetrate and create a passage between this and that parallel universe.
The reality around us is only a representation created by our minds. What do we want to see? Which side do we want to be on?
There is a quote from Nietzsche that says:
if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.
This music project wants to provoke you by asking you this question. There is another dimension parallel to this and the barrier that divides these two worlds is as thin as a veil of water.
The decision is yours because that’s the beauty of free will.
EryaV’s gaze is disturbing and magical at the same time. Those eyes without speaking send a strong message.
Abisso are developing a project that goes beyond music. Their artist vision wants to engage all your senses to give you a complete experience.

Abisso is a multimedia Italian artistic duo with a dark mood, composed of EryaV & D’avy.
“Son Of Abyss”: an instrumental album, entirely self-produced, of a dark ambient mood. Its ten tracks give life to a real “concept album” with strong cinematic references. Rarefied and sad atmospheres, come together in a melancholy ambient sound that intertwines suggestive dark plots with piano and violin notes, touching a meticulous alchemical balance.
