Superstar is Satellite Train’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
welcome to Edgar Allan Poets indie music corner. A space dedicated to the best new artists and bands we find around the web. Today’s feature band is Satellite Train and their single Superstar.

Superstar is Satellite Train’s Single Out Now

You immediately realize that you are dealing with highly experienced musicians.

The melodic line of this song is articulated and intriguing. The performance by all the band’s members is flawless.

A rock inspired by the past, by the classic rock of the 80s. A refined and glossy sound where every slightest nuance is treated with great attention.

The arrangements are qualitatively superb and the dynamics of Superstar manage to keep you glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.

Satellite Train is a band of professionals who deeply love composing music.

I would see this single as the soundtrack of some television series or a commercial for a sports brand. I imagined a boy taking the bus to school and looking out the window dreaming of one day becoming a Superstar.

A very interesting band that I recommend everyone to go and listen to.

Superstar is Satellite Train’s Single Out Now

Originally formed as a fun side project between friends, Satellite Train has quickly gained traction with the release of their debut material. With the powerful vocals of Icehouse’s Michael Paynter at the forefront, the band’s unique sound takes listeners on
a journey through a variety of musical styles.

Satellite Train features a talented lineup of musicians from both Australian and American bands, such as Michael Paynter of Icehouse, John Watson of James Reyne, John McCall of The Black Sorrows, Shane O’Mara and Randy Jacobs of Paul Kelly, Pasquale Monea of Stephen Cummings, Jamie Muhoberac of John Mayer, Chris Chaney of Miley Cyrus, and Gregg Bissonette of Ringo Starr.

Satellite Train is taking a somewhat unorthodox approach to their music releases by simultaneously dropping tracks from two distinct collections, “The Melbourne Sessions” and “Spacewalk”. It’s customary for bands to adopt a sequential method of releasing
their music, launching one song or album at a time. Although the two collections of songs may cater to different listeners, there is some overlap between them.

“The Melbourne Sessions”, showcases Australian musicians and boasts a raw, live sound. Satellite Train opted for no rehearsals and took the first or second takes during the recording process. The creative process was guided by music charts, allowing Satellite Train to capture the energy of a live performance without preconceived ideas of the songs.

On the other hand, “Spacewalk” presents a more refined alternative pop sound, featuring a mix of Australian and American musicians who make up Satellite Train. Satellite Treain plans to continue parallel releasing tracks from both “The Melbourne Sessions” and “Spacewalk” throughout this year and beyond.”
