Good Day Noir Family,

The Admirer is Black Light White Light’s Album

I was very impressed with the sound proposed by this band. A compositional style that looks to the past but manages to be modern at the same time.

In some moments the music of Black Light White Light reminded me of the Beatles with nuances of Pet Shop Boys, an intriguing mix that is difficult to label.

Their music is ethereal, dreamy, and nostalgic and manages to speak to the listener’s subconscious and stimulate oneiric visions.

The Admirer is a solid album that follows a coherent theme. Black Light White Light found their unique and original style that makes them stand out from the crowd.

These guys know how to do it and their music is professionally produced and every slightest nuance is treated with great attention.

The harmonic progression of these beautiful songs is never predictable and banal and demonstrates a developed compositional ability.

A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

The Admirer is Black Light White Light’s Album

After a four-year album break, the Swedish-Danish indierock band Black Light White Light returns with a new album, THE ADMIRER, on August 26, 2022. The upcoming album is the Malmö-based band’s first release since the internationally acclaimed Horizons from 2018.

The new album presents the band’s most personal, versatile and certainly most adventurous release to date. It delivers psychedelic rock, cosmic pop, and piano-driven ballads to surf-boogie rock with wandering melodies, layers of keyboards, sizzling delay guitars, and manipulated effects to an intoxicating mix that jumps and has plenty of edge in 10 songs with personal lyrics about pain, doubt, love and confusion.
