Edgar Allan Poets – Noir Rock Band | The Creek is Wilhelm's Single Out Now
The Creek is Wilhelm’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
welcome to Edgar Allan Poets indie music corner. A space dedicated to the best new artists and bands we find around the web. Today’s feature artist is Wilhelm and his single This Creek.

The Creek is Wilhelm’s Single Out Now

I’m used to listening to Alex Riggen’s music with Murnau, but I have to say this solo project intrigued me.

The atmosphere created by the new single The Creek reminded me of a sonic blend ranging from Chris Isaak in Wicked Game and Queens of the Stone Age in Make It Wit Chu.

A very atmospheric song that makes you fly with your imagination. The song is also offered in acoustic and that version instead made me think of Grant Lee Buffalo.

The thing I liked the most is the crepuscular and nostalgic atmosphere of this melody.

Wilhelm is a musical project that I recommend to everyone, especially to the people of the night. The Creek is a tune that gives strong emotions.

The super single also includes You Were There Sweet and Kind which confirms the ethereal and intriguing atmospheres of Wilhelm’s compositional universe.

This a beautiful discovery, go and listen to this music that speaks directly to your soul.

Nostalgic and Twilight!

The Creek is Wilhelm’s Single Out Now

The Creek is the first new Wilhelm song written and recorded since the album “Sugarcane” released in 2020. Included on the single is the song “You Were There, Sweet and Kind” an unreleased track recorded in a hotel room on a 4 track recorder.

After a 3 year break, The Creek is the first new track written by Alex Riggen’s (Murnau) solo folk project, Wilhelm. Moody and atmospheric, this release teases what will come next for Wilhelm and the in-progress full album.
