Good Day Noir Family,

The Ghost in Me is MADAME NEPTUNE’s Single

The sinister and twilight sound proposed by this band immediately bewitched me.

Haunting music that manages to sneak into the depths of your unconscious in search of the abyss.

The singer’s sexy voice has the ability to hypnotize you as the mermaids did with Ulysses in his Odyssey. The arrangements are well thought out and cared for in every detail.

MADAME NEPTUNE seem to have a lot of compositional experience behind them as the harmonic construction of their songs is impeccable.

The rhythmic variations and the chord progression are never banal and obvious.

The artistic vision of this duo is complete in fact the single The Ghost in Me is accompanied by a marvelous video that recalls the atmosphere of Kubrick’s films.

A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

MADAME NEPTUNE is a two piece art project (2022, Germany). While Madame Neptune, a gifted medium, struggles from her past, her devastating dreams and the urge to stop the wrong prophets and fake fortunetellers, her own story seems to be a bit complicated and complex.

Behind a wall of dark thoughts and translucent memories, lost feelings and melancholic pictures in her head, she is able to help people with her visions but her past is an unsolvable puzzle. Urok also dreams. But all he can hear is Neptune´s voice – and he will follow this voice. His ressurection is lead by a craving for independence, power and emotions. Maybe they will find something they did not want to find.
