The cheerful atmosphere manages to give you the energy you need to throw yourself into something new and fascinating.
A song that makes you want to take the car and wander around the world without a precise destination in mind.
In some moments his compositional style reminded me of artists like Cat Stevens.
A delicate song that manages to bring out the best in each of us and that above all clears the mind of bad thoughts.
Mark Millar had already shown in the past to have very important compositional skills and he has reconfirmed them, raising the bar even more with this beautiful song.

Mark Millar has been playing the guitar for a long time, influenced by the likes of Mark Knopfler, JJ Cale and a lot of old blues CDs. After years of roaming the country with several bands, Mark retreated to the safety of the studio, recording for other artists and doing bits and pieces of his own songs but never quite finishing them… until 2019.
First came the old tracks, finally finished and coaxed into the light, culminating in the release of his first solo album, ‘On the Journey’. His second album, ‘Take Me to the River’ was released at the end of 2020 and has gained over a quarter of a million streams on Spotify alone. Since, then, Mark has continued writing and releasing new songs. They tend to focus on real life – the good and the bad – what it is to be human.
Yes, sometimes Mark’s songs can be a little melancholy, but there’s also a sense of hope pointing us to better days ahead. The new single, “The Great Adventure’, is a perfect example of this – positive and upbeat, the song was written for his wife’s birthday and focuses on the good things about getting older.
