Good Day Noir Family,

The Invitation is Jobbaloon’s Album | Indie Music

The psychedelic and “Balkan” style of this band fascinated me.

In their way of making music, I felt European vibes. Some of their songs made me think of the circus coming to a small village and bringing some entertainment to bored people.

Surely we are faced with a very eclectic duo that manages to mix ethnic flavors with futuristic and modern sounds.

This mix is truly unique and makes this musical project stand out from the crowd. Jobbaloon follow their instincts and are not afraid to walk on musical paths never traveled before.

The Invitation is a solid and mature album that I recommend to everyone to listen to it several times to be able to notice all the numerous nuances and the obsessive attention to every minimum detail.

A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Detroit-based Psych Pop/Indie Rock duo Jobbaloon break boundaries by being their authentic selves on bold new album “The Invitation”. Unafraid to dabble in metaphysical philosophies, psychedelic stage treatments and a self-depreciating sense of humor, Jobbaloon experiment freely on this exciting new full-length release. Here is a band who grasp their own insignificance in the face of creation.
