Good Day Noir Family,
today I’m doing something unusual as I’m going to tell you about a song that hasn’t been released yet… so I can’t let you hear it.

The King Is Dead is Gary Dranow’s Upcoming Single

This tune by Gary Dranow and the Manic Emotions will be released in May with the full album. I was lucky enough to listen to it and I was so hooked by this track that I decided to write something.

The King Is Dead is a pure rock song.

The solo that introduces the tune makes you feel like you’re in Woodstock and while listening to it you feel the mud between your feet and the wind in your hair.

Then the singer starts singing a very catchy melody that oozes freedom from every pore.

A song that is inspired by classic rock but which above all in the chorus is very current. The rhythmic cadence pulses to the beat of your heart. The gospel screams after the guitar solo literally took me to heaven.

Gary Dranow and the Manic Emotions have outdone themselves with this song. Pure passion, pure rock!
I can’t wait for you to hear it too šŸ™‚ In the meantime, follow this band so you don’t miss out on future releases.

“I’ll give you an exclusive sneakpeek of this song. It’s not going to be officially released until the album May 12th.”

The blues rock band, Gary Dranow and the Manic Emotions, are unrestricted by the bounds of genre, but when you listen you will hear blues tinged Rock N Roll. A force to be reckoned with, Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions will be releasing all tracks as singles leading up to an early 2023 release of the full EP Destiny Road. The forthcoming album features the talent of Sherm Tate on bass and vocals, and Marty Steinberg and Jethro DeFries on drums, the brilliant Jerry Manfredi on bass and musical direction, and Tommy Mars on keyboards. Having gigged extensively in Southern California, Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions are now looking forward to spinning magic in and around Salt Lake City and Park City, UT

After creating successful business endeavors in the world of outdoor sports, bandleader Gary Dranow turned to music to help him cope with bipolar disorder and the effects of a stroke. The result is a genre-defying collection of songs that provide comfort to those who are also walking a difficult path.
