our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Miller Test. I discovered this great band while shuffling songs on Youtube and I love the vibes of their song.
As soon as you listen to The Miller Test you are immediately conquered by the extraordinary voice of the singer. An ethereal and different voice that absolutely stands out from the crowd.
The voice is accompanied by soft arrangements, the instruments are used without exaggeration, leaving room for empty reverberations and emotions.
A minimalist but complete approach that I really liked.
Michelangelo said that the secret of an artist is to know how much to take off, and not how much to put on… from a block of marble you remove piece by piece until you begin to see “The Pietà”.
The miller tests reminded me of this approach, they leave no room for the superfluous but only the essential.
Definitely recommended, refined music and band of absolute talent.
