Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed the Polemics in the past but they are out now with a new cool single and I want to share my opinion about it.
This new work from these guys is really cool. A powerful and direct sound that doesn’t give you time to breathe.
This is a band to listen to live to fully enjoy their music. Their sound is contagious and even if this new Ep ‘The Sesh’ is interspersed with quieter songs, the groove is always there to make you move to the beat of the music.
These guys know how to do it and have found their way and artistically speaking they are impeccable.
Honestly, I found no flaws in this Ep, all the songs are solid, well thought out, and produced to perfection.
The Sesh is Polemics’ Ep Out Now!
The Sesh EP was recorded and engineered in Bristol by Hugo Bishop (HUMM) and Polemics, mixed by James Trevascus (Bakewell Audio) and featuring additional synths by Pete Bucksley. Video for title track The Sesh is in the works and will be released in the new year.
Since their inception 18 months ago Polemics have been prolific in writing and releasing new material, bringing to life their debut EP ‘Conflict’, a live EP, three singles and a series of DIY videos with great reception from bloggers, playlisters, radios and musicheads around the world.
