E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Thirsty Curses

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Thirsty Curses. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked a lot their musical vision.

As soon as I pressed the play button I was immediately intrigued by the vocal timbre of the singer.

A unique voice that in some moments reminded me of Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins.

The compositional style of this band is very interesting, surely these guys love to experiment and propose something different from the usual.

Their new single Nothing Really Matters begins as a ballad and then explodes into a rock ride that does not leave a second of breath.

It feels like Thirsty Curses spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable musical understanding.

The production is excellent, perfect for the genre, a direct and sincere rock without strings attached.

Nothing Really Matters is Thirsty Curses’ Single Out Now!

Wild!

Thirsty Curses’ sound covers a vast array of rock ‘n roll subgenres including punk, folk, country, prog rock, 90s alternative, and pop. As John Adamian of YES! Weekly put it, “Thirsty Curses make rock’n’roll, with a boisterous beer-swilling edge to it. Many of these songs are about living it up while things fall apart at the seams, or at least trying to find some glory in chaos and meaninglessness.”
