Time Has Come is Louis And The Shakes’ Single

Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed  Louis And The Shakes in the past but they are back with a new cool song and I want to share my thoughts about it.

Time Has Come is Louis And The Shakes’ Single

The energy unleashed by the music of this band is confirmed in this new single.

These guys had already hit me the first time I listened to them but they managed to raise the bar even more.

Louis And The Shakes are a band on a mission, their determination will take them far.

Honestly, I don’t find any flaws in terms of production, interpretation, and composition. The song flows well from the first to the last second and the bridge around 2.20 minutes creates that moment of magic before jumping into the grand finale.

Absolutely perfect dynamic construction.

It feels like these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room as their sound understanding is enviable.

Absolutely reconfirmed.

‘TIME HAS COME’ depicts the biographical experiences of Louis’ mental health issues as he clambered out of the darkness of lockdown, “I wanted to write a song about overcoming demons, facing them head on, staying strong. Writing an empowering song for people out there that deal with mental health,” comments Louis.

Embracing a slightly more upbeat musical direction, ‘TIME HAS COME’, blasts-out thumping drums and bass, with a joyous catchy hook to enhance the powerful melodic vocals, which whip and weave around the expected LATS formula. If ever there was a phoenix-rising moment, this track is it, as we hear a glorious eruption and transformation from those dark pandemic days, into the light of indie/rock blinding brilliance.

Louis And The Shakes  are rapidly snowballing serious public and industry attention in the indie rock arena. Their self released debut album How Badly Do You Want It? encapsulated the desert rock world of Queens of the Stone Age as well as fusing contemporary rock sounds from the likes of Arctic Monkeys Royal Blood and Black Honey. No surprise it was picked up by new music guru John Kennedy (Radio X) as well as receiving praise from BBC Radio & Introducing. Their defining single On One was synced on the virtual reality video game “Unplugged” alongside legendary acts & being stalwarts on the live / festival circuit, having recently played Isle of Wight Festival, they’re here to do things their way.
