our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Tom Tikka & The Missing Hubcaps. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere created by his music.
The sound of this artist immediately intrigued me, a music that finds inspiration from the great artists of the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
A light and sweet melody that makes you want to dance and makes you travel with your imagination.
I imagined myself driving a convertible through the endless roads that cross the Finnish forests. I felt free and safe surrounded by the immensity of nature.
This music makes you feel free and part of something bigger and somehow makes you forget about everyday problems.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Formerly a member of the Sony/BMG & Warner Music band, Carmen Gray, Tom Tikka currently releases solo material with The Missing Hubcaps. He is also one half of the Finnish pop duo, The Impersonators.
In 2020, Tikka began working with MTS Records and released a solo EP titled “Working Class Voodoo.” It featured the UK iTunes chart-hit title single. Following the global success of his Christmas classic, “Just Like Xmas (Love Is War),” Tom released the “That’s What Winston Churchill Said” EP in January 2021, including multiple Top 5 iTunes worldwide hits.
