This artist’s music vibrates with the energy of the universe. As soon as I hit the play button I found myself in a parallel universe.
I closed my eyes and got carried away by this sound. I have seen matter become antimatter by passing through a black hole.
This music seems to hide a message. A secret code sent to us from the future.
I have always thought that music and love are the only possible means to help the development of collective intelligence among humans. BETAGEIST is the missing link and has a clear artistic vision. The solidity and coherence of this sound convinced me and I became a fan instantly. Now I feel like an evolved and upgraded human.
It is as if the mathematical knowledge of Kevin Heber, the architect behind this musical project, helps him to shape the “musical matrix”.
A truly wonderful discovery that I feel to recommend to everyone.

BETAGEIST is electronic post-rock with ambient, prog, cinematic and psychedelic elements – the ghost project of Kevin Heber, audio software engineer and product of the University of Miami’s Music Engineering program.
I’ve spent a long career in tonmeister tuning and DSP algorithm development of factory vehicle audio systems for manufacturers in the US, Europe and Asia. I try to fill the sparse gap between synth-based and guitar-based instrumental genres. I compose to tell a story and evoke emotion. Influences for the ethereal sound of Betageist span a colorful spectrum of genres and decades – classic ambient electronica (Tangerine Dream, David Helpling, Carbon Based Lifeforms), instrumental post-rock (All India Radio, Tycho, The American Dollar, Lights Out Asia), organic electronica (Schiller, Helios, Rhys Fulber), neo-classical (Nils Frahm, Ben Lukas Boysen), and progressive rock (Mike Oldfield, Marillion).
