Honestly, it is an honor to be able to review an artist with such an important career behind him.
As soon as I pressed the play button and started listening to the new single We All Hurt Inside, I immediately felt Neil Taylor’s great artistic taste and great compositional experience.
The years spent in the studio with the greatest artists in the world allowed him to know the secrets to compose beautiful songs.
We All Hurt Inside has a compositional style inspired by the past but the meticulous choice of sounds and the attention to every harmonic nuance make this song modern at the same time.
The production is flawless and the execution is perfect. It is a pleasure to listen to Neil Taylor’s music and I am happy that he has decided to give these beautiful songs to the world with his solo project.

Neil started his career playing guitar with Tears For Fears on the album ‘Songs From The Big Chair’, featuring his famous guitar solo on “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”. Neil’s involvement with Tears For Fears was long lasting, seeing him play on two world tours and the band’s third album “The Seeds Of Love”.
He has recorded and toured with: Robbie Williams, Natalie Imbruglia, Peter Gabriel,James Morrison, Morrissey, Tina Turner, The Pretenders, Trevor Horn, Van Morrison, Rod Stewart to name a few.
In 2001, Neil played guitar on Robbie Williams’s album “Sing While You’re Winning” He was a member of Rob’s band for almost 10 years after playing on the album “Escapology”.
In 2010 Neil started working on his solo career as an artist and has written most his albums to date with songwriter Steve Torch (who works for artists such as Cher [Believe] Hall & Oates. In 2011, Neil released his first single ‘Walk Away’ which received a great response from radio stations in Germany & the UK.
He has performed many band & solo shows in the past seven years, mainly in Europe & has supported Midge Ure, Joan Armatrading & Chris De Burgh doing solo acoustic performances.
In 2014, Neil with his band was asked to play in the Ukraine on New Years to 500,000 people. The show was televised live throughout Eastern Europe. Six months later he went to headline at the Woodstock Festival in Ukraine.
To date he has release five solo albums & is working on his sixth. “I’m really enjoying the process working on the new album.Writing/Recording/Mixing, no pressure just pleasure & enjoyment”.
