Worst Wait of Our Life is Georg Óskar’s Album

This artist’s music seems to come from the future.

A sound so unique and innovative that manages to stand out from the crowd.

An alternative electronic rock that seems to hide a secret… a coded message dedicated to humanity to make an evolutionary quantum leap.

I was mesmerized listening to this album…in some moments Georg Óskar’s great creativity reminded me of artists like Bjork.

His compositional style is difficult to label. I’ve always liked artists who try to walk musical paths never traveled before.

Georg Óskar is an inspired and courageous artist who is not afraid to investigate the deepest emotions that hide in the depths of the human unconscious.

A great find that I recommend to everyone

Georg Óskar is an accomplished cross-disciplinary artist who made his solo professional recording debut in 2021 with the single “Walk on The Water”. That track introduced a talented and experimental composer/producer who creates in broad strokes, drawing from a hybrid analog and electronic palette.

A native of Iceland, Georg Óskar currently works and lives in Oslo, Norway. He is a 2009 graduate of his home country’s prestigious Akureyri School of Visual Arts. In 2016 he obtained his Master of Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design in Bergen, Norway. In the years since graduation, Óskar’s work has been exhibited in Europe, Asia, the United States, and around the world .

“Late Night Good Night” is the brand new advanced single from Georg Óskar’s forthcoming debut album, Worst Wait of Our Life, due January 15, 2023. Released exclusively to YouTube, the song is an experimental EDM meditation on love, obsession and the decline of Western civilization. It is also the first of the artist’s releases to include vocals.

A classic analog bass and ambient synths introduce the track. A male vocalist steps to the mic for a spoken word poem about love, lust and obsession. In the video, three beautiful women vamp for the camera in response to the narrator’s admiration. His observations grow darker until the song devolves into a dystopian industrial apocalyptic fantasy.
