The powerful and epic sound proposed by this artist has a particular charm. As the compositional style takes its cue from the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
The thing that struck me most is Maximilian Wentz’s vocal timbre, a very expressive voice and an almost theatrical interpretative ability that makes you believe in the words of the lyrics.
The chord progression of the single Your Silhouette is very articulated and I liked the bridges, sometimes bold, which connect one melodic piece to another.
A coherent structure that manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
An artist who certainly has a great compositional experience behind him as his songs are very well thought out.

Your Silhouette is Maximilian Wentz’s Single
Maximilian is a 2021 New England Music Awards nominated artist in the Best New Act Category. He is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, who combines elements of rock, metal and Latin music with those found in acoustic pop. He hails from the Boston area but has roots in Frankfurt, Germany on his father’s side of the family and Latin roots on his mother’s side of the family.
His musical leanings were evident at an early age as he sang along to Marc Anthony songs before he was speaking full sentences. Combining that with exposure to 70’s rock and his affinity for metal music, he writes music that speaks to the current state of the world and based on his personal experiences. He was the vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for the teenage metal band “BunkerHill”. BunkerHill performed in venues all over New England and placed in competitions like the Newburyport (MA) Yankee Homecoming Battle of the Bands. Maximilian has performed as a solo artist in venues all over New England like the Middle East, Cambridge, MA, Hard Rock Cafe, Boston, Hampton (NH) Beach Seashell Stage, The Music Room on Cape Cod and the Food Truck Festivals of America.
His new rock band project, 51st State, just released three singles. His current solo project is a concept album in the metal genre and is inspired by the video game Little Nightmares. The first four songs have been released: The Sixth, Hunter, Hospital and Centerpiece.
