There is no doubt that we are dealing with a great composer.
As soon as I hit the play button I was immediately mesmerized by Zeigarnik’s intriguing melancholy.
A melodic line that activated my neurons which, like raindrops falling into a lake, created light and infinite waves, stimulating oneiric visions.
I imagined myself walking barefoot in a large meadow, I opened my hands towards the sky and I gathered within myself the universal energy that surrounds us … for a moment I felt free.
Bartosch McCarthy’s music has the ability to speak directly to the soul and heart of the listener. His melodies lift your spirits and make you a better person.

Bartosch McCarthy is an award-winning composer based in the US. His work contains scores for different media and has been performed and recorded in various facilities, including Abbey Road, Alvernia Studios, The Bridge Recording, and the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music, as well as at the Clio Entertainment Awards show in Los Angeles.
McCarthy’s music began receiving international recognition in 2015/16, when he received the West One Music Group “Young Composer Award” 2016, and was the runner-up in several international composition competitions. He was also selected to be one of five participants in the film music orchestration masterclass “Das Orchester” at the “Filmmusiktage Sachsen-Anhalt” in Germany, where he recorded his work with the Philharmonic State Orchestra Halle.
McCarthy’s compositions are characterized by a firm sense of melodic writing, attention to detail, as well as the exploration of colorful textures and harmonies. His newest work, a collaboration with Swiss composer Tristan Seewer and Atlanta-based filmmaker Justin Suttles, is now available on YouTube.
