Zona Prohibida (Remastered Edition) is Horizonte Lied | Indie Music

Despite having a sound reminiscent of the 80s, this band still manages to be intriguing even today.

The compositional approach is modern while the sounds are vintage… a very interesting mix in my opinion.

You can feel that these guys have a great compositional experience behind them as the chord progression is never predictable and banal and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.

The new single Zona Prohibida (Remastered Edition) is an ideal song for the people of the night.

While listening to this beautiful song I imagined driving a car through the streets of Berlin on one of those days when you just want to be with yourself.

Go and listen to them, it is worth it!

Horizonte Lied is a band of electro alternative music that incorporates dark sound textures to create electronic and organic musical fusions. The band was born in June 1992, under the influence of bands like Depeche Mode and Clan of Xymox. The band remained ‘underground’ until 2001 when the band started recording their original debut album ‘Reciclaje’.

Around that time the band decides to change its name to Horizonte Lied (formerly called Horizonte Limite); the word LIED is of German origin used since the 18th century and represents one of the most important forms of poetic-musical art of all time (Franz Peter Shubert established the German ‘Lied’ as a new art form in the 19th century). It is not until 1999 that the band begins to seriously plan the recording of their first album. In October of 2002, they release their first single:’Destello Inmortal’; the good rotation that the song received on the internet opened the doors to be invited to be the opening band of the renowned Gothic cult band Clan of Xymox at the end of that same year in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

In March of 2003, they finally released their first album called ‘Memorias de Crónicas Futuras’ with a very good reception in the electro underground scene, despite the scarce marketing that was handled around it limited to only distribution via the internet. The band is currently promoting a big project called “REMASTERS FINALES”, which includes several remastered & unreleased tracks.
