Dust is an emotional track with a slow burn build and an impactful drop into the chorus. It tries to deliver the emotional message embedded in the track through its soundscape.
It was created using a simple acoustic guitar riff that just felt pared back and pensive enough to give the vocals the space to say what they needed.
The drop into the chorus uses both guitar and synths to distort and give a large expansion.
